Visual Meditation

Grounding Through Movement
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-. Learn to ground through movement. Watch the clip for ideas, but feel free to come up with your own unique patterns! (See video instructions)
Instructions: Place your feet in a wide stance, enough to let you move around comfortably. Draw circles with your arms: you can play with bringing the circles in, or directing the energy outwards. While you do this, notice how your feet feel on the ground and how your weight shifts. Remember to breathe, and keep your movements light and easy.

Mental Visualization
Hold your hands as if you are cupping a ball. Imagine a ball of light between them. What color is the light? As you breathe out, imagine expanding the ball of light.
Continue to increase the ball's size. If it starts feeling uncomfortable, notice what that feels like in your body (tight? light? heavy?). Now, slowly decrease the distance between your hands until you find a comfortable size for you again.
Notice what this comfortable space feels like to you. What happens when you make it smaller or larger? Can you notice what distance feels the best for you?
