The following are a selection of original flow sequences/cycles that I have written, or rediscovered,* in collaboration with my base and flyer friends ("washing machines," which in my view are sequenced transitions spun together into a cyclical flow, or a series that can begin where it ends).

Rocking the Throne (June 2015)
Created with Melanie Ladybase, this dance-like looping cycle explores side stars and foot to hand. It originated from twisted-leg exercises where we asked the question "What is throne, and how many ways can we transition to and from it?" |

Insanity (2016)
Created with @acronymphd, this machine involves extreme external rotation for the base and a twisting side star stabilization requiring finesse from the flyer. This opportunistic theatrical trailer was filmed at the move's inception and more or less describes my mindset at the time of its creation. |

Bastard's Sexy Sister (2016)
Created with @acronymphd, this is an intermediate version of the machine Insanity. Flyer: Rachel, Base: Nadav |

Scallop (September 2017)
Created with Eric (@biosciengr), this torturous little beauty explores the following questions:

Do Re Mi (July 2017)
I created this machine when my peers asked me why there weren't any beginner washing machines.

"Acro washing machines are iterations that allow for adaptation throughout each cycle of the sequence, revealing new flaws as each microshift affects foot placement, stacking, stability...Build resilience as a base and flyer by seeing how many cycles you can make it through. Notice what changes every time. Washing machines are a process, not an end goal."
