"Exploding Star": Side-star Roll-ups (2017)
Created with Eric Basham, this roll-up enables the base to practice transferring the flyer's weight onto his/her body. The flyer must assist in a fine-tuning of the rolling motion. Power comes from the base's legs while the arms steer the flyer into position as an assist. This move originated from the question "How can we transfer the flyer from the ground to the base in a seamless way?" |
